New Holiday Card Designs!

We had a great afternoon for some family pictures didn't we! I had a great time walking around the park with you guys! I am going to have to work on my teenage humor - I think I have been hanging around with little kids and toddlers too much! Thanks for a great afternoon - we got some wonderful stuff!

studio open!

It has been a crazy couple weeks! The most exciting thing is that we are pretty well finished with the studio!!! My new space is in Waldo, 75th and Wornal Rd. I am in one of the old buildings with lots of character and personality. Thanks to my wonderful husband and his brother and my sweet kids, we have been able to paint the entire space and lay a very pretty wood floor! The viewing room is complete and I have been able to meet several wedding video clients in the space already! The shooting room just needs some curtains to help with the direct light that sometimes shines in the big windows, and we have just a little more work to do on the floor in one room, and some artwork hung, but mostly its done!!! We will be having an open house after the holidays with some specials on portraits of your little ones - so keep an eye out for that! I've got some portraits that will be coming up on the blog this week - so stay tuned for some sweet families!!!

Brandon

This is my friend Brandon! We had a great little playdate the other day. He was so sweet and I hear now he is walking all over the place. Good job Brandon! It was great to get to meet you - I shot his Mom and Dad's wedding video several years ago, and now we are neighbors too! I bet we see you at the park this fall!

my guy

This is my guy. We have had a great summer and my kids have been so fun! Cole was my lighting helper today before a morning shoot - after this great shot, my mom came and whisked him away for a fun day together. I think this might be a tiger impression - you should have seen the dead squirrel impression from last summer. It was equally as impressive on an entirely different level. Something about this image is really speaking to me today - I might have to find the perfect place for this in the house - hmm, where can we put this w/o frightening anyone too much? 20x20 in the downstairs bathroom? That would fill the whole wall - it would be fun to hear surprised gasps from visitors as they go in and close the door :-)
